EASTERN SIERRA NEVADA

The Sierra Nevada is an area, not a national park or national monument along highway 395 running north and south along the eastern side of the mountain range.   Coming from the south, you can stop off in Lone Pine or keep going up to Bishop for motel rooms and overnight stays. Bishop is the most centrally located town.  From Bishop, you can travel to different scenic areas for sightseeing, hiking, and photography. From Lone Pine, you can take 138 to the east and drive over to Death Valley National Park where a whole new adventure awaits.

1st Peter 1:18-20

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.
