MONUMENT VALLEY NATIONAL MONUMENT

ARIZONA

Monument Valley is a National Monument located on the border of Arizona and Utah, on Navajo Indian Reservation.  There are Native Americans living on the land in the park.  Huge buttes and mesas dominate the land.  Some of the rock formations might look familiar as the whole park appeared in several westerns in the 1960s, ’50s, and ’40s. Actor John Wayne made several western movies at this location.  One of my favorite movies entitled, “Once upon a Time in the West” was filmed here.  This is definitely a drive-through park that will take the better part of one hour after stopping at all of the designated stops to take pictures.  The road is not paved and it is very rough so drive slowly, and take your time.

Romans 4:23-25;Romans 5:1

Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;  But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
