Canyonlands National Park is like a small Grand Canyon.  Most of my experience in this park has been from above.  I have yet to hike many trails in this park, and of all of the parks that I have been to it is the only one that can make that claim.  All of the viewing I have done is from the many lookout points in the park which you get to by driving from point to point.  This park is definitely worth seeing.
