CANYON DE CHELLEY

NATIONAL MONUMENT

ARIZONA

Canyon De Chelly is a National Monument.  It is located in the northeast part of Arizona, near the town of Chinle.  There are Native Americans living in the canyon with farmlands.  All tours are jeep driven tours conducted by the Native Americans.  I only know of one trail in which visitors to the park are allowed to hike down, but you have to stay off the farmlands once you reach the bottom.  I have hiked this trail twice. You can freely drive around the rim of the park stopping at various locations for photo opportunities.  One of the attractions of the park is the ancient ruins that still remain.  The ruins are mind-blowing.  How did they build “all that stuff” so far off the ground?

Proverbs 6:16-19

These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:   A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,  A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
